As someone who loves the manga I think it's a decent opening but maybe I'm just being too optimistic. That's just my impression of Episode 1 though. Tanaka Rie is perfect voice for Aphrodite who has jugs so big that she needs people to carry them for her. Sawashiro as Hilde is definitely my highlight thought and hearing her taunt the gods was such a great scene. Maybe it's because there wasn't really any fighting this episode and just Thor and Lu Bu trading a couple of opening blows but so far I was totally okay with what I've seen. This is a show that really benefits from the hype build up with every fight so not quite sure how I feel just seeing it all dumped into one go to be binge watched :| Stitches!įinally finished Episode 1 and personally I don't think it's as bad as people are saying on this thread.
